‘Rotary Club of Calcutta Old City’ of ‘Rotary International District 3291’ is organizing the fundraising program for the treatment of underprivileged children, who are suffering from congenital heart disease, requiring surgeries, in association with Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Science (unit of Narayana Health) through a musical night named ‘UNISHE KURI’ on 24th August, 6 pm at Kala Mandir. The occasion is all set to be celebrated by Raghab and his peers, Rupankar Bagchi, Anupam Roy, Subhamita Banerjee, Manomay Bhattacharya and Lopamudra Mitra, where they will share the stage singing along. The evening will be filled with the tune of Raghab performing ten to twelve songs of his own and the other fabulous artists will sing a song of Raghab and another of their own. Witness this amusing musical gathering of melody and harmony, compared by none other than Mir. The main objective behind the grand celebration is to collect fund for an excellent contribution to Project Hridaya, to treat a group of underprivileged children with serious cardiac complications.
This initiative is being taken and looking forward to extended support to the underprivileged children, who are deprived of medical treatment due to lack of finance. They want to make a change and create a better world for them so that said child gets a fair chance of treatment at Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Science. They are aiming to ensure approximately Heart Surgery of 100+ children by the end of 2019 with the revenue which would be generated through this event. Each treatment may range from Rs. 4,000/ – to Rs. 4,00,000/-Since their inception, (1st June 2017), 40 children have undergone successful heart surgeries till date.
