FDCI has announced Hyundai India Couture Week 2026, set to take place from July 23 to 30 in New Delhi with a stellar line-up of leading Indian designers.

The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) has officially announced the return of the highly anticipated Hyundai India Couture Week 2026, presented in association with Nexxus New York. The prestigious fashion event is scheduled to take place from July 23 to July 30, 2026, at the Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi.

Recognised as one of India’s most celebrated couture platforms, Hyundai India Couture Week continues to spotlight exceptional craftsmanship, artisanal excellence and innovation in design. The annual showcase serves as a tribute to the country’s rich couture heritage while offering a stage for both established and emerging designers to present their latest creations.

Continuing its long-standing association with the event, Hyundai Motor India Limited returns as the Title Partner for this year’s edition. FDCI has also welcomed Nexxus New York as the Associate Partner for Hyundai India Couture Week 2026. Additionally, the organisation acknowledged Reliance Brands for its continued support and contribution towards strengthening the platform over the years.

The 2026 edition will feature an impressive line-up of some of India’s leading couturiers. Designers scheduled to showcase their collections include J J Valaya, Tarun Tahiliani, Anamika Khanna, Rahul Mishra, Falguni Peacock and Shane Peacock, Kunal Rawal, Rimzim Dadu, Rohit Bal, Masaba Gupta, Aisha Rao, Jayanti Reddy, Arpita Mehta and Roseroom by Isha Jajodia.

Commenting on the upcoming edition, Sunil Sethi, Chairman of FDCI, said that couture represents the highest form of handmade artistry, requiring immense skill, effort and individuality. He noted that Hyundai India Couture Week celebrates this creative power through compelling storytelling and craftsmanship. Sethi added that this year’s edition will see both legendary designers and emerging fashion talents paying tribute to India’s rich artisanal traditions. He also welcomed Nexxus New York as the Associate Partner, stating that the collaboration would further enhance the creativity and innovation showcased at the event.

Tarun Garg, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Hyundai Motor India Limited, said the company is proud to continue its association with FDCI for the fourth consecutive year. He noted that the partnership reflects Hyundai’s commitment to creativity, craftsmanship and innovation, values that closely align with the brand’s philosophy.

Highlighting Hyundai’s milestone of completing 30 years in India, Garg said the collaboration carries special significance this year as it celebrates three decades of trust, progress and cultural connections with Indian consumers. He added that India Couture Week provides a unique platform where heritage meets contemporary expression, mirroring Hyundai’s approach of combining timeless values with future-ready innovation. Through such initiatives, the company continues to engage with audiences beyond the automobile sector while promoting its vision of “Progress for Humanity.”

Ashwini Rao, Vice President at Hindustan Unilever, emphasized the strong connection between fashion and beauty, describing both as powerful forms of self-expression and confidence. She said Nexxus New York’s association with Hyundai India Couture Week reflects the brand’s commitment to delivering world-class hair innovation, which will be showcased alongside collections from some of India’s leading designers.

Jaspreet Chandok, Group Vice President at Reliance Brands, expressed his enthusiasm about continuing the company’s strategic partnership with FDCI. He stated that the collaboration aims to support and grow India’s designer fashion industry while strengthening the stature of the event. Chandok also welcomed the addition of several respected brands, noting that their participation further reinforces the prestige and influence of Hyundai India Couture Week.

With an illustrious designer line-up, strong industry partnerships and a continued focus on celebrating Indian craftsmanship, Hyundai India Couture Week 2026 is expected to once again serve as one of the most significant events on the country’s fashion calendar.
