The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) after holding successful auditions in Kolkata and Mumbai, held female and male model auditions in Delhi today. This model hunt at the FDCI office saw an overwhelming record-breaking response with over 600 contenders and a melange of myriad faces emerged to find a spot under the arch lights.
“Delhi, a vivacious city brings to the fore intrepid faces that are drenched in personality and break the stereotype of perfection. This year too we have looked for unconventional looks shattering the narrow definitions of beauty that have been a template of the style world,” added Sunil Sethi, Chairman FDCI.
The jury panel for female auditions comprised designers Suneet Varma, Rahul Khanna and choreographers Asha Kochhar and Aparna Bahl. The male auditions had designers Rohit Bal, Manoviraj Khosla, Nikhil Mehra, Pawan Sachdeva, Dhruv Vaish, Rohit Kamra, Vikram Bajaj and choreographer Vidyun Singh. The 50 shortlisted models will get an opportunity to walk for the Lotus Make-up India Fashion Week in association with EbixCash Autumn-Winter 2020 from March 11-15, in the capital.
