Review: Comedy-drama Good Newwz has been creating a buzz ever since its announcement. This movie shows the ultimate goof-up between two Batra Family.
Deepti aka Kareena Kapoor Khan and Varun Batra aka Akshay Kumar living in a Mumbai. They are much involved with their respective careers. After trying for a few years couples are unable to conceive, so they decided to go for IVF( In Vitro Fertilisation) procedure from one of the best fertility specialist consultations. After few days, the procedure is through the doctor tell them, there has been a sperm mix-up with another couple of Batras from Chandigarh.
That’s how the Batras of Chandigarh enter the life of The Batra family of Mumbai. Honey( Diljit) and Monika (Kiara) are a Punjabi couple. Now It’s a clash of sensibility between two sets of Batras. Rest of the film forms how the couples deal with these unusual situations. In this film lots of light-hearted and funny moments created by two sets of Batras. The Pace of the film stays mostly tight. While Varun is disinterested in his wife’s pregnancy where Honey to much attentiveness to both Deepti and Monika. Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan play a more convincing couple than Diljit and Kiara. Akshay and Kareena are in perfect sync in Raj Mehta’s Good Newwz.
This film is conservative about the necessity of childbearing and abortion, but also raise one’s voice for the right of women to bear children no matter who the father is. The news is usually good for everyone concerned in the movie, except for those who believe in abortion or adoption in the real world. The dialogues are produced several zingers.
From party number to emotional tunes, the song has been ruling music lists. The whole movie leaving people in splits with the goof-up of the year.
