Bollywood Mourns The loss And Pay Heartfelt Tributes To Wajid Khan

Music composer Wajid Khan breathed his last in the early morning after suffering a cardiac arrest. He had tested positive for Covid-19. Well, known singer-composer was laid to rest at the Versova Kabrastan in Mumbai, in the presence of his brother Sajid Khan and actor Aditya Pancholi.

Wajid Khan was famous for composing peppy numbers along with his brother Sajid. Condolences poured in from the music industry to Bollywood. Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan, Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, Preity Zinta, Arjun Kapoor, Shankar Mahadevan, Sonu Nigam and others paid heartfelt tributes to their beloved Wajid on their social media handle.

Salman Khan took to his Twitter to mourn the demise of a friend and composer Wajid Khan. In his tweet, he wrote, “Wajid Vil always love, respect, remember n miss u as a person n ur talent, Love u n may your beautiful soul rest in peace …”

It feels unreal… Wajid bhai, I close my eyes and only see your smiling face

Shreya Ghoshal penned an emotional heartfelt note on her Instagram, “I can’t believe I am writing this. It feels unreal… Wajid bhai, I close my eyes and only see your smiling face. You always saw positivity in any situation, gave so much warmth, happiness and strength to everyone around you. I was a newcomer in the industry when I first met you, but you made me feel like family, so touched by your humility, sensitivity, dedication, unrelenting love for doing good for people, above and beyond being a supremely gifted composer singer. Every time we spoke you said you have made so many beautiful melodies that you want record, you were an unstoppable force of music. I pray that wherever you are, you are resting in peace. May god give strength to the family. This goodbye is too difficult. R.I.P”

Wajid Khan was very humble courteous and always smiling

Anupam Kher expressed his shock and tweeted, “Deeply shocked & saddened by the untimely demise of greatly talented  #WajidKhan of the #SajidWajid team. I had met him at few occasions. He was very humble, courteous and always smiling. May God give his family the courage to deal with this loss. Will pray to almighty.”
