Ruchita Bansal, Founder & Creative Director, Izhaar
Women are the real architects of society! A day when we all come together to remember how strong we are and after how many challenges we as women have achieved equal rights. Be it a homemaker, a professional or an entrepreneur, we women have excelled in every field. The best advice I could give to a woman starting her career? ‘Whatever you do, be different. Don’t try to imitate anyone, be more ambitious. Be persevering and trust yourself. Excellence is the best way to go ahead and don’t fear failure. Dare and get what you want as an independent woman who does not let herself be influenced by what others might think.’ This women’s day let’s make sure to encourage women to take up the profession of their choice and enable them to become financially and economically independent and respect their choice.

It’s time to put your best side forward with a dash of boldness. Connect with your inner self and play along with your strengths while you tread the road to innovation, free of age-old conventions. Go wild with imagination and create something that goes beyond the physical.

There is no limit to what we, as women, can accomplish.
Women are emerging fearlessly in the current scenario. This is something I would really like to talk about. I’m into designing, It was kind of in my DNA, never knew it would turn out to be my profession. I never settled for less and currently, I don’t know how far I can go? I work each day just to learn more about myself. Self-discoveries are really important for me. I’m the kind of woman who desires to express their whole and authentic self while experiencing more vitality and freedom. I’m in the notion that women should focus on self-mastery & uplifting the impact they are making in the world. I love working with women who have this strive to help others.
We’re into this niche market where we want to showcase our heritage, art forms and nostalgic wedding culture all around the world. You can call it my passion which I never thought I’ll be into.
Designer Gautam Gupta from the label Asha Gautam
Asha Gupta is the inspiration for the entire team and a role model. She sets the right culture of dedication, hard work, and creativity right from the day she started 23 years back. She displayed then that a woman irrespective of her background, education, and resources can create an identity if she has the will, skills, and determination. Today also their entire design team has a lot of women who really get inspired by her way of working and thinking. The respect she shows for Artisans is also a precedent now and today it is because of such values the brand is able to work with so many crafts.
Dr. Blossom Kochhar, Founder & Chairperson of the Blossom Kochhar Group of Companies
I feel women should be empowered; they should be given equal rights to prove themselves. They should never stop learning. And the most important thing, women should support each other rather than competition with one another. Only a strong woman can pull another woman.
