Pratima Pandey is a NIFT, alumni and winner of Grazia Young Awards in 2011 in the category of eco-friendly fashion. Her label PRAMAA lays emphasis on natural fabrics and indigenous embroidery techniques thereby encouraging craftsmanship and sustainability.
Inspired by Prama’s 10-year journey, Dastaan narrates how Pramaa embodies the nuances and the shades of the rich Indian Handloom. Not only the delicate & luxuriously rich Chanderi fabric has been a constant Prama favourite but also it dominated in this ramp walk. Beautiful models entered with crinkled maxis which featured with floral embroidery, and sheer shirt which was teamed with embroidery skirts. Showstopper Sakshi Tanwar graces the ramp with golden chanderi saree, embroidery on her pallu.
Layering it with opulent embroideries of flora and fauna the collection Dastaan is an embodiment of the essence of Prama through classic layered Kurta, drapes, Saree and Dresses. Her colour palette was actually trying to symbolizes her journey.
