The wait is over. Like every season, the Indian Federation for Fashion Development (IFFD) will launch a batch of Newgen Designers and will give them a platform to showcase their talent at India Runway Week(IRW). This event will start from tomorrow (i.e 4th October) at Select Citywalk, Saket. Neelima Azeem (Shahid Kapoor’s Mom) will be inaugurated India Runway Week which ends on 6th October.
The IFFD has announced the 10th batch of Newgen designers like Rasleen Kohli, Priyanka Choudhary, Archana Makwana, Kaveh by Vinay Saurabh, Aastha by Aastha Kaushik who will display their creations at Winter/Festive 2019 edition.
Under the Fresh Fashion program, the names of budding designers who are showcasing their work at the 12th edition of India Runway Week is Lumegee by Priya Ghosh, IVANAA, Threads, Bucolic by Rituvan Gupta.
This season of India Runway Week is special for young designers, as this edition of IRW, will also witness its first winner under Ethical Design Challenge who will get financial support from IFFD and the opportunity to showcase his complete collection in the next edition of India Runway Week.
Javik Naari, the Indian organic brand which is conceptualized to take Indian art of handweaving to the world will open the Runway Week, the other designers who are showcasing their collection this season are Akassh K Aggarwal, Saaj by Ankita, Poonam Dubey, The label Ekam by Manish Gupta, Miku Kumar, Peeli Kothi by Ambica and many others.
India Runway Week is a platform of new ideas and creativity, under the same name, early this month IFFD did the world’s first-ever Instagram Fashion week.
