In a recent chat with News18, Anupria Goenka shared her exhilarating yet nerve-wracking experience of working alongside the esteemed Rahul Bose in the upcoming spy thriller Berlin. The film, helmed by director Atul Sabharwal, is set against the vibrant backdrop of 1990s New Delhi and features a compelling ensemble cast, including Aparshakti Khurana, Ishwak Singh, Kabir Bedi, and the leading duo, Rahul Bose and Anupria Goenka.
Goenka, who has garnered acclaim for her diverse roles, recounted a particularly challenging moment during the shoot of an intimate scene with Bose. Despite their professional rapport, Anupria confessed feeling a degree of discomfort. “Rahul, who is typically very chatty, was surprisingly reserved on the day we shot the steamy scene. He was visibly shy and worked hard to maintain a calm demeanor,” she said. “We weren’t actually filming, just posing for some photos, but seeing him so shy was endearing. The fan girl in me had to resist teasing him!”
The 37-year-old actress admitted to her own nerves, working diligently to project confidence despite the awkward situation. “The pictures turned out beautifully, even though it was a challenging moment,” Anupria reflected.
Adding a personal touch to her professional journey, Anupria revealed that working with Rahul Bose was a dream come true. “I had a huge crush on him growing up, so sharing screen space with him was a significant milestone for me,” she shared.
Produced by Zee Studios and Yippee Ki Yay Motion Pictures, Berlin is slated to stream on ZEE5. With its riveting storyline and a talented cast, the film promises to deliver a captivating exploration of secrecy, morality, and the complexities of undercover work.
