The new decade sees the emergence of films based on true events. One such film that awaits its premiere (on the 28th of February) is Amit Sadh’s next, Operation Parindey. It has only been a few days since the teaser of the forthcoming film was out and the lead actor, Sadh has received a tremendously positive response for glimpses of his performance in it.
Operation Parindey is based on one of India’s most controversial jailbreaks that put the entire nation under a looming threat. It is a ZEE5 Original film, directed by Sanjay Gadhvi of Dhoom fame.
Intense and stoic, the talented actor will be seen as SP, Abhinav Mathur in Gadhvi’s directorial. Last seen in the super hit inspirational drama Super 30, Amit will hit the digital screens, embarking on a genre he’s never tried before with Gadhvi’s highly anticipated next. Interestingly, Operation Parindey marks the Kai Po Che! actor’s third OTT venture after Breathe 2 and Barot House.
Talking about the ZEE5 Original film, the versatile actor says, “Working under Sanjay Gadhvi’s direction has been very enriching for me as an actor. The comfort that we share has eased into my performance. I’m thrilled with the response the teaser has got so far. It precisely captions the plot of the film.”
In addition to the forthcoming ZEE5 Original film, Sadh will be seen alongside Vidya Balan and Sanya Malhotra in the Anu Menon directorial titled, Shakuntala Devi.
