Two best friends, craft beer, and a whole lot of chaos—Prime Video’s upcoming Hindi Original Do You Wanna Partner promises to be a spirited ride. Headlined by Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty, the comedy-drama will stream globally from September 12 across 240 countries and territories.
The series follows Shikha (Tamannaah) and Anahita (Diana), two ambitious women determined to launch their own alcohol start-up. Set against the buzzing backdrop of urban India, the story dives into the quirky, often unpredictable world of entrepreneurship—complete with eccentric encounters, bold decisions, and plenty of jugaad. At its heart, the show celebrates female friendship and ambition, as the duo attempts to carve a space in the male-dominated craft beer industry.
Directed by Collin D’Cunha and Kumar, and written by Nandini Gupta, Aarsh Vora, and Mithun Gongopadhyay (who also co-created the series with Nishant Nayak), the show features a stellar ensemble including Jaaved Jaafery, Nakuul Mehta, Shweta Tiwari, Neeraj Kabi, Sufi Motiwala, and Rannvijay Singha.

Producers Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, and Apoorva Mehta have backed the project under Dharmatic Entertainment, aiming to bring a fresh mix of heart, humour, and hustle. Johar describes the series as “audacious, vibrant and unapologetically fun,” while highlighting its message about women breaking barriers in unconventional industries.
Prime Video’s Nikhil Madhok calls it “a bold and spirited tale of ambition, friendship, and hustle” that blends Indian flavour with universal relatability. The streaming platform has previously collaborated with Dharmatic Entertainment on several contemporary narratives, and Do You Wanna Partner is being positioned as one of its most dynamic Hindi Originals yet.
For Apoorva Mehta, the highlight is the ensemble cast’s energy: “The incredible team, led by Tamannaah and Diana, has brought authenticity and spark to every scene. The world we’ve built feels colourful, chaotic, and deeply relatable.”
Somen Mishra, who has served as executive producer, underlines that the series is not just about humour, but about celebrating ambition and friendship “with honesty and heart.”
With its lively storytelling, playful tone, and focus on female agency, Do You Wanna Partner looks set to deliver more than just laughs—it’s a portrait of friendship, grit, and dreams brewed with style.
