Shraddha never fails to impress her audiences with any character she chooses. Her time management skills are definitely praiseworthy and also the energy Shraddha keeps up with all of her work is quite commendable.
On the work front., Shraddha will be seen in “Street Dancer 3D” co-starring Varun Dhawan and helmed by Remo D’Souza and in Baaghi franchise “Baaghi 3” directed by Ahmed Khan, opposite Tiger shroff. Both of these movies are slated to hit the screens in 2020.

Kangana picked up the dodging technique just by observing it a couple of times : Gauri Wadekar
Kangana Ranaut, who plays a former National-level Kabaddi player poised for a comeback after giving birth in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s sports drama Panga, underwent rigorous training by Gauri Wadekar, who has represented India twice on international platforms.
According to Gauri, Kangana was a model student on the set.
“Kangana told me to teach her the basic moves in our first meeting itself,” she says, adding that she was highly impressed by the actress’s quick grasp of the techniques.
“I was shocked as I teach young girls, and even they take almost six months to reach that level of training. Kangana picked up the dodging technique just by observing it a couple of times. I was awestruck.”
Gauri and Kangana first met in September 2018 and trained together for five months. “Starting at 8 am every day, we would train for two hours. Kangana never missed a session and was punctual throughout. We shot in Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai in different weathers, but Kangana’s dedication never wavered,” added Gauri.
Most of the duo’s focus was on the footwork.
“Kabaddi requires Swift legwork, so her workout routine included squats and lunges. We trained on attack strategies, defence, how to go for the bonus and which leg to put the weight on in each position,” says Gauri.
Given that Kangana portrays a Kabaddi player at two different stages of life, pre and post pregnancy, the training at to be designed accordingly. “She had to weigh more than usual for the post-pregnancy shoot, so for that segment, we focused on the gaining muscle rather than losing weight,” the Kabaddi pro informs.
As part of the prep, the actress also made changes to her diet. “You need a lot of stamina in Kabaddi just like wrestling, so I stuck to a wholesome died that included carbohydrate, fat, raw vegetables and Juices,” says Kangana, going on to inform that she had to focus a lot on her legs for the training.
“I had to gain a lot of weight in my legs to look authentic as a Raider (player who attacks from the opposing team), but I had to change it for the part where I am shown as a retired player,” she adds.
Kangana’s coach is impressed with the way the actress held her own in front of professional players during the shoot. “It was almost impossible to distinguish her from them when she was raiding. I was scared as those players could have easily tackled her,” Gauri gushes.
Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior Movie Review: Tanhaji- Udaybhan Jodi shine in thrilling historical
Cast: Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Kajol, Sharad Kelkar, Luke Kenny, Padmavati Rao
Director: Om Raut
Rating: 4.5/5
Review: Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan Starrer Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior showcased the life of an extraordinary warrior who fought for the nation till his last breath. Tanhaji Malusare was the right-hand man of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The story revolves around the famous battle of Kondhana (now called Sinhagad) 1670, 4th February.
Under the settlement of Purandar, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj (Sharad Kelkar) surrendered 23 forts to Aurangzeb (Luke Kenny), including the Kondhana. Rajmata Jijabai (Padmavati Rao) swore that she would walk bare feet till the fort is taken back by the Marathas.
Four years later, Aurangzeb played a game plan and sends Udaybhan (Saif Ali Khan) with an enormous army and a gigantic canon called ‘naagin’, to make sure that Shivaji Maharaj cannot recapture the fort.
On the other side, Shivaji plans for the recapture of Kondhana, but he doesn’t want to send his trusted friend, Subedar Tanhaji Malusare on the battlefield because his son is about to get married. But when Tanhaji gets to know about the campaign, he entreats Shivaji to allow him a chance to triumphing over Kondhana. His wife, Savitribai (Kajol) always shows to be Tanhaji’s unspeaking strength. A ferocious battle crop up where Tanhaji fights with the dangerous Udaybhan. At last, he won the Kondhana fort by defeated the Mughal warrior, Udaybhan.
In this film, Ajay Devgn is in topmost position to playing the braveheart Maratha warrior, Tanhaji, with all his might. Kajol as Tanhaji’s strong and supportive wife makes very limited screen space with a convincing performance. Saif as Udaybhan is extremely strong; he exposes the brutality and villainous touch of his character with ferocity and evil madness. In some times he actually builds on a tinge of humour to the scene. This movie is one of his most outstanding performances. Sharad Kelkar as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj brings the grandeur to the part of the warrior-king.
Director Om Raut shows a stylishness and originality for storytelling in his thrilling movie. He keeps alive a solid unyielding grip on the film and balances the emotions & drama with tact. There is munificent use of CGI, which is merged seamlessly in the narrative. It helps the film to ascend on a scale that is needed to create a solid impact. The action, sword fighting, slicing, dicing is designed by action director Ramazan Bulut and shot skillfully, aesthetically.
‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ win scores on various counts like high- graded performances, powerful action, visual impact, and last but not least is that it develop and reveal a story from the pages of history that needed to be told.
