The celebrated 2017 film Mom, which earned Sridevi a posthumous National Award, is getting a sequel — and this time, it brings together Karishma Tanna and Khushi Kapoor in leading roles.
According to sources close to the production, Mom 2 will not serve as a direct continuation of the original storyline but will draw inspiration from its emotional core — themes of justice, strength, and resilience. The upcoming film aims to present a fresh narrative that reflects contemporary sensibilities while honoring the legacy of the original.
Karishma Tanna, who recently received widespread praise for her powerful performance in the critically acclaimed series Scoop, steps into a commanding role that promises both emotional depth and intensity.
