Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut on Thursday unveiled the first look of Milind Soman as a Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in her upcoming directorial Emergency.
Taking to Instagram, Kangana shared Milind’s look where he flourished Sam Manekshaw’s iconic moustache and seen in an uniform.
Kangana penned a beautiful caption, “Presenting the dynamic @milindrunning as #SamManekshaw, the man instrumental for saving India’s frontiers during the Indo-Pak war and whose service was as distinguished as his honesty; a charmer, a war hero and a visionary leader in #Emergency.”
Milind also posted his intriguing look on Instagram and captioned, “Honoured to be a part of @kanganaranaut ’s directorial #Emergency and play the role of Sam Manekshaw, the man who, with his wit and gallantry, led India to victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war!”
Fans and celebrities were quick to react the comment section. Bollywood actor Anupam Kher commented, “Brilliant.”
To date, Bollywood actor Kangana has posted the first looks of few characters in her upcoming project Emergency. Kangana Ranaut will portray the character of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. In this movie, Shreyas Talpade will essay the role of late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. On the other hand Anupam will play revolutionary leader J P Narayan.
This film marks Kangana’s first solo directorial. The screenplay and dialogues of the film are penned by Ritesh Shah and produced by Renu Pitti and Kangana. Makers of the film has kick off the filming of the project.
