A woman is a full circle. Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform.  She is Jan’ni, Amba and Jagdamba. Balancing love, compassion yet ruling the world with strong hand the empowered women is the inspiration behind the Rahul and Anushka SS’20 collection.

The design vocabulary delves into how each thread from the loom reaches its rightful place in a creation that is donned by a powerful woman. Making each thread become a part of her climb to the top.

Handwoven fabrics from Jharkhand have been crafted to form silhouettes that are global in charm and character.

Embellished by subtle hand- embroidery borrowing from aesthetics and sensibilities intrinsic to tribal arts and crafts of the land. Think smart drapes and unique separates for the quintessential Indian woman who is not restricted by size shape or complexion. Steeped in the culture and workmanship of the land the garment ultimately evokes a high sense of pride and consciousness for the crafts heritage of our land.

Power dressing that is artistic and rich. Sticking to their penchant for fluid fusion, this collection explores interesting drapes using handloom fabric through contemporary sarees, angrakhas, layered Kurtas and tie-up pants in the hues of black, rustic silver, earthy yellow and blood red.

Each piece is a one-off experiment in an inclusive fashion using indigenous art. Made in a size that fits for all, every creation is like a second skin as it languidly falls over the body. Politician Shazia llmi graced the ramp in a black saree.
