According to reports, Aneet Padda, who gained considerable attention following Saiyaara, is currently in discussions for a significant role in the sequel. Sources suggest that the actress has been approached for a character opposite Ranbir Kapoor. However, the casting has not been finalised yet.

The first film’s post-credit sequence had teased a mysterious character played by Deepika. Although her face was deliberately kept blurred, the scene showed the character holding a child, prompting widespread fan theories about her significance in the Astraverse.
Deepika had long been speculated to have an important role in the sequel. However, according to the latest development, the actress’s team has denied that she is part of Brahmastra 2.
