A Star-Studded Cast
In addition to Diljit Dosanjh, Border 2 has already confirmed some major names. Actor Varun Dhawan, another exciting addition to the cast, had joined the team earlier. The Legacy of Border
The original Border (1997), directed by JP Dutta, was set during the India-Pakistan War of 1971 and is remembered as one of Indian cinema’s most iconic war films. Starring Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, and Akshaye Khanna, the film struck a chord with audiences for its portrayal of bravery, camaraderie, and patriotism. Its rousing dialogues and stirring soundtrack made Border a landmark film of its time, and it continues to enjoy a cult following even 27 years after its release.
