Amazon Prime just dropped the majestic trailer of the movie and fans have been going crazy ever since then.

The new-age Cinderella isn’t a damsel in distress waiting for her knight in shining armor to rescue her from her evil stepmother and step-sisters. In fact, she has her own dreams and goals, and the crown of a princess and the prince himself cannot stop her from chasing her dream. And that’s exactly why the movie is receiving widespread love and appreciation.
Soon after the trailer was dropped, fans, critics, and all movie buffs appreciated the contemporary approach the makers took on his legendary fairytale.
The film is written and directed by Kay Cannon, and produced by Leo Pearlman, James Corden, Jonathan Kadin, and Shannon McIntosh. The movie features Camila Cabello, Idina Menzel, Minnie Driver, Nicholas Galitzine, with Billy Porter and Pierce Brosnan and in key roles.
Defying several outdated schools of thought, this is the first time in history that a female character has been replaced by a non-binary character. Amazon Prime knew it was finally time to bid adieu to the old white lady as the godmother and introduce Billy Porter as the new godparent. This change has taken the buzz around the movie to a whole new level.
