A teaser poster of Chicken Curry Law is out which dealt with the subtle issue of the behaviour towards foreigners in our country. The tale revolves around a foreigner Maya who became a helpless victim of rape. She is drugged, raped and left to die on the streets of Mumbai by two men, who have political connection and influence.
However, she wants to fight the system along with local social activist, Satya Deshmukh, who fights for women’s rights. On the other side Sitapati Shukla, an idiosyncratic lawyer, decide to help Maya seek justice against the politically strong and rich accused. It is all about the utmost battle of one’s self-respect in a devastating situation where the law is being compromised with political power and monetary pressure. How does Maya’s quest for justice fare in a country that frequents the top 5 slots as an unsafe destination for solo women in most international surveys, that makes climax interesting in any way.
Over the past, the offences like rape, harassment and molestation against foreign women have gone up sporadically in India. Although a small amount of data is available on the rape cases which include foreigners. A lot of it is attributed to the attitudes people have about foreigners. Albeit, Indians are familiar with their cordial reception, but few are treat foreigners with a lot of preconception.

The stellar cast includes Ashutosh Rana, Nivedita Bhattacharya, Makarand Deshpande, Zakir Hussain, Aman Verma, and Polish actress, Nataliya Janoszek as Maya.
