We haven’t been lucky enough to meet the past times’ well-known artistes. Some of them have gained appreciation worldwide and have graven a distinct segment for themselves within the field of art. Even after eternal rest, their works are in huge demand.

Art for Concern, a fundraising initiative, organised by Secure Giving, showcase the works of these artists to Mumbai! They create an incredible golden chance for art enthusiasts to carry in high regard and buy works by forthcoming and well-established Indian artists. This show brings eighty-five works by over forty artists from across the country underneath one roof. Exhibiting multifarious collection of art, the show boasts works by acclaimed masters like the late Ram Kumar, late KG Subrahmanyan, Jogen Chowdhury, B. Prabha, late Badri Narayan, Sunil Das, Paresh Maity, T. Vaikuntam, G Subramanian, Rabin Mondal, Jeram Patel and Lalu Prasad Shaw among many others. Most works are priced between Rs 18,000 and Rs 2,00,000, with a few works priced higher.

On this note, Anjana Khanna, Deputy Director, Art for Concern says, “We are delighted to bring to Mumbai many artists who are creating ripples across India and the world. It’s even more heartening that these artists seek Art for Concern as a platform and partner through which they can further expand the audience for their works. The proceeds from all Art for Concern shows are donated towards social development activities in the space of education, health and community development”.

“Over the years I have been supporting and closely interacting with Art For Concern. It is living up to its name. It has a real concern with the needy in India. Therefore, I am grateful and glad only to contribute to their kind efforts every time with my paintings.” says Artist Babu Xavier.

Huge variety of works and competitive pricing make this show a must-visit for those who have just begun to build their art collection, as well as for long-time collectors.
