Ajay Devgn is all set to captivate audiences with his much-delayed film Naam, which is now confirmed for a theatrical release on November 22. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the movie was originally shot in 2014, but its journey to the big screen was interrupted following the unfortunate passing of one of its producers. However, the makers have finally announced that Naam will make its way to theaters, much to the excitement of Devgn’s fans.
Produced by Anil Roongta of Roongta Entertainment and Snigdhaa Movies Pvt. Ltd., Naam has become a significant project, marking the fourth collaboration between Devgn and Bazmee. The star-director duo have a well-established creative partnership, having previously worked together on hit titles like the action thriller Hulchul in 1995, the romantic comedy Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha in 1998, and the psychological thriller Deewangee in 2002.
In addition to Devgn, Naam also stars Bhumika Chawla and Sameera Reddy, adding to the film’s appeal. Recently, the team released a brand-new poster for the movie, along with its official title, teasing a mix of drama and action in a storyline that promises to engage viewers.
The film’s distribution across India will be handled by Pen Marudhar, ensuring audiences nationwide have the chance to experience Naam on the big screen. As Devgn returns to familiar ground with an action-oriented role, there’s already a buzz building around this long-awaited release.
Meanwhile, the November release calendar holds another treat for Bollywood fans, with Devgn’s Singham Again and Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 set for a head-to-head at the box office on November 1. With both films carrying the potential to draw massive crowds, it’s shaping up to be an action-packed month for the Indian film industry.
After years in production limbo, Naam is finally stepping into the spotlight, adding another layer to Devgn’s storied career and further cementing his bond with Bazmee.
