Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar franchise has emerged as one of the biggest milestones in the actor’s career, with the action drama continuing to expand its reach across streaming platforms. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the first installment released in theatres on December 5, 2025, and witnessed a successful box office run before arriving on Netflix on January 30.
The makers have now announced that Dhurandhar 2: Raw And Undekha will premiere digitally on June 4 and begin streaming on JioHotstar from June 5. Ahead of the sequel’s release, audiences will also get to revisit the original story through Dhurandhar: Raw And Undekha, an extended version of the first film that is scheduled to stream from May 22.
Featuring Ranveer Singh as Hamza Ali Mazari, also known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, the extended cut will be available in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on both Netflix and JioHotstar.
Interestingly, while Indian viewers await the sequel’s digital release, Dhurandhar 2: Raw And Undekha has already premiered in the United States on Netflix on May 15. The growing popularity of the franchise has also sparked speculation around a possible third installment.
Actor Rakesh Bedi previously hinted that the current storyline appears complete but suggested that future films could continue with new characters. Producer Jyoti Deshpande, however, teased that the Dhurandhar universe still has more surprises in store for audiences later this year.
Reports also suggest that a behind-the-scenes documentary or making-of special may be under development, although the makers are yet to confirm it officially. The franchise has delivered massive commercial success so far, with the first film reportedly collecting Rs 840.20 crore in India and crossing Rs 1,307.35 crore worldwide.
