Marking a special cinematic event, the romantic drama is now slated to release on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2026. This new release date replaced the initial plan of a December 5, 2025 launch after Dharma Productions advanced Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri starring Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday to December 31, 2025, thereby clearing the way for O Romeo’s February release.

Accompanying the first poster was a short teaser of the film’s title track, sung by the in-demand Arijit Singh. Early lines from the track reflect Vishal Bhardwaj’s distinctive musical style—a blend of haunting melodies and evocative lyrics—raising expectations for the film’s soundtrack.
Adding to the anticipation is the ensemble cast. O Romeo marks Shahid’s first collaboration with Triptii Dimri.
