Exciting news for Bollywood fans! Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi have been roped in to star opposite each other in the upcoming romantic drama, now titled Mere Raho. The makers, who first announced the project in early July, have also revealed the film’s release date—December 12, 2025.
The film, previously known as Ek Din, has generated buzz not only for its fresh pairing but also because Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has joined forces with Mansoor Khan to produce the project. This marks a reunion for the duo after 17 years, their last collaboration being the Imran Khan–Genelia D’Souza starrer Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.
Mere Raho, directed by Sunil Pandey, will also mark Sai Pallavi’s debut in Hindi cinema. Known for her grace and natural charm, the actress has already won hearts in regional cinema, and fans are eagerly awaiting her performance on the big screen. Junaid Khan, who impressed audiences with his serious role in Maharaj and a fun persona in Loveyapa, is expected to surprise viewers by taking on a role unlike any he has played before.
Reports suggest that the film will be loosely based on the 2011 Korean movie One Day, although no official confirmation has been made. Filming wrapped in 2023, and snapshots from the Japan schedule featuring the lead stars had already surfaced online, sparking excitement among fans. Initially slated for a Valentine’s Day release, the film’s launch has now been moved to December 12, 2025, adding to the year-end cinematic anticipation.
