Ranveer Singh, who has been away from theatres since Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani in 2023 (barring his extended cameo in Singham Again), is gearing up for his next big outing with Dhurandhar. Directed by Aditya Dhar, this high-stakes espionage thriller will have its teaser launch on July 6, coinciding with Ranveer’s birthday.
Ahead of the teaser drop, Ranveer recently shot for a grand dance sequence at the Golden Tobacco Factory in Vile Parle, Mumbai. The track, designed to blend desi street energy with a touch of swagger, is positioned as a visual spectacle in the film, which also features R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal. Choreographer Vijay Ganguly has designed the moves for the number.
A production insider shared that the song is a high-voltage dance track, with Ranveer dedicating several days to rehearsals before filming over a four-day schedule on a massive set with elaborate backdrops and numerous background dancers. The shoot wrapped up on June 30, with onlookers describing Ranveer’s avatar for the song as intense and striking.
Buzz suggests that snippets from this song will be featured in the teaser launching on July 6, though an official confirmation from the production team is yet to be made.
Earlier this year, reports indicated that Dhurandhar‘s final shooting schedule took place in Mumbai, where the team recreated specific backdrops in a controlled studio environment in Andheri to capture crucial sequences. Ranveer, it is said, underwent rigorous preparation to deliver sharp and impactful scenes for these portions.
While the team is reportedly targeting a late 2025 release for Dhurandhar, an official announcement on the release date is still awaited. With Ranveer Singh ready to return to the big screen, fans can look forward to seeing him in a powerful new role very soon.
