After a busy phase of back-to-back projects, the actor is now reportedly planning to slow down for a while. Varun is said to be taking a break from acting following the release of Border 2, which recently brought him together with Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty in a multi-starrer ensemble.
According to sources, the actor intends to use this time away from work to focus on his personal life and spend more time with his family, especially his daughter Lara Dhawan. After a demanding filming schedule, the break will allow him to enjoy a quieter phase with his loved ones.
That said, fans will not have to wait too long to see him on screen again. Varun’s next film, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, is already set to release on June 12, 2026.
While the actor has not officially announced his next project after Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, fans are hopeful that once his short break concludes, Varun Dhawan will return with new announcements and another exciting chapter in his film career.
