The excitement surrounding War 2 is reaching fever pitch as the release date nears, and new reports suggest the action drama will pack a double treat after the credits roll. According to Hindustan Times, the film will feature two major post-credit sequences containing “huge plot points” that will shape the next phase of the YRF Spy Universe, often hailed as the “Marvel of India.”
“War 2’s end-credit roll will reveal two huge plot points that will blow people’s minds,” a source told the publication, adding that YRF is guarding these details closely. Speculation is rife that these Easter eggs could introduce fresh characters, mark the return of popular Spyverse icons, or even announce an entirely new project from the franchise.
Director Ayan Mukerji, who steps into the action universe for the first time, has kept key plot details under wraps but offered tantalizing hints about Jr. NTR’s role during a pre-release event in Hyderabad on August 10. Dismissing rumours that the Telugu superstar appears only midway through the film, Mukerji said with a smile, “We are smart enough not to make a movie where he comes in only at the interval point. That much sense we have. But I can assure you that Jr. NTR’s entry sequence is one of the major highlights of the film—you have to watch War 2 and discover that yourself.”
