With an impressive portfolio of films and series to their name, Raj Nidimoru & Krishna D.K., also known as Raj & DK, need no introduction. The incredibly talented writer-director duo has an impeccable body of work, and they will now kickstart their creative partnership with Netflix with the quirky series Guns & Gulaabs under the D2R Films production.
Inspired by the misfits of the world, Guns & Gulaabs is a story that depicts love and innocence, set in a world of crime. The series is set to uniquely blend the romance of the 90s with a crime thriller while effortlessly lacing it in humor.
The celebrated duo Raj and DK recently announced their Next series that will be headlined by Rajkummar Rao.
A source revealed, “The comedy-thriller series is set to be mounted on a lavish scale and will bring out Rajkummar’s never-seen-before avatar. The actor has a lot on his plate for the year with the release of Badhai Do, HIT: The First Case, Monica, O My Darling, and BHEED with Anubhav Sinha. By signing Raj and DK’s next, the actor will be exploring yet another genre. He is excited to venture into a diverse cinema space with all his upcoming projects.”

The comedy-thriller Netflix series is the second collaboration between the filmmaker duo and Rajkummar Rao post-Stree. While not much else has been revealed around Raj and DK’s next, fans can expect a never-seen-before avatar from Rajkummar Rao. Apart from Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan and Adarsh Gourav will also cast in this upcoming series.
