Veteran Actress Himani Shivpuri Tests Positive For COVID-19

Veteran actress Himani Shivpuri testing positive for the novel Coronavirus.

The actress, who is seen as Katori Devi Singh in Binaiferr and Sanjay Kohli’s “Happu Ki Ultan Paltan”, shared the news on her Instagram account and wrote, “Good morning, this is to inform you that I tested positive for COVID. Anyone who has come in contact with me kindly gets yourself tested.”

She is currently admitted to Holy Spirit Hospital, Mumbai.

Previously, Rajesh Kumar, the lead of Edit II’s “Excuse Me Madam”, has won the COVID battle and is back on the sets shooting his show.

Talking about Rajesh, the actor, who was asymptomatic and under quarantine, has already begun shooting for his show in Filmcity. Scheduled to hit the TV screens from September 14, “Excuse Me Maadam” also features Nyra Banerjee and Sucheta Khanna. The show is the second season of Edit II’s “May I Come In Maadam?”.

The production house was already going through a tough time as it was not just Rajesh, even Sanjay Kohli, aka the King of Comedy, also tested positive for COVID-19. The ace producer is under home quarantine and still recovering.

Everyone advises not to take this virus lightly.

“It is my first day but I would say that the rate at which it is spreading, always take precautions and wear masks and avoid crowded places,” Himani Shivpuri says.

We wish both, Sanjay Kohli and Himani Shivpuri, a speedy recovery.

Amitabh Bachchan Has Arranged Buses To Send Migrant Workers For Their Native Place

Apart from spreading awareness about covid19, Big B is doing his bit of help to the needy families and migrant workers in these hard situations. He has make an arrangement for more than 10 buses for Uttar Pradesh to send migrant workers for their native place. The buses will depart from Haji Ali Dargah, Mumbai on Thursday. Rajesh Yadav, Managing Director of Amitabh Bachchan Corp Ltd be in the forefront of this work for underprivileged people.

Big B’s office has also donated more than 20,000 PPE kits to hospitals, police stations, BMC offices and funeral places. Recently Big B teamed up with Haji Ali Trust and Pir Makhdum Saheb Trust to distribute 4,500 cooked food on a day to day to the underprivileged families and migrant workers. The distribution commenced on the locations like Haji Ali Dargah, Arab Galli, Antop Hill, Garib Nawaz Nagar on March 28 , which is continued till date.

Recently Amitabh Bachchan also starred in a short film, titled Family, to spread awareness on the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Boney Kapoor’s House Help Getting Tests Positive For COVID19

After the news of Sussanne Khan’s sister Farah Khan Ali’s staff member tested positive, now producer Boney Kapoor’s domestic help, too, has been tested positive for covid19.

Today Producer Boney Kapoor has informed that Domestic help at his residence at Green Acres, Lokhandwala Complex, Charan Sahu aged 23 years was tested positive of Coronavirus. Talking about the situation Producer Boni Kapoor says, “He was unwell on May 16, Saturday evening and Mr Kapoor sent him for tests and later kept in him isolation. After receiving the test reports he informed the Society Authorities and BMC as well. BMC and State Govt Authorities have started the process of getting Charan into a quarantine centre.”

He also added, “Myself, my children and the other staff at home are all fine and none of us are showing any symptoms. In fact, we haven’t left our home since the Lockdown started. We are thankful to the Govt of Maharashtra and BMC for their swift response. We shall be diligently following the instructions and advice given to us by BMC and their medical team. We are sure that Charan would soon recover and be back at home with us.”

Shah Rukh Khan Urges To Contribute And Supplies Of PPE Kits, Ventilators

After announcing a range of initiatives and contributing widely, Shah Rukh Khan is urging everyone to contribute towards the healthcare soldiers who are fighting Covid-19 at the frontline, through crowdfunding and help them take PPE kits, ventilators to the workers.

Sharing a message with a video, Shah Rukh Khan took to his social media handle and posted, “Let’s support the brave health officials and medical teams that are leading the fight against the coronavirus by contributing towards supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE). A little help can go a long way.

Shah Rukh Khan has been, time and again extending his support towards helping the various segments of the society- the administration, the workers as well as the citizens.

Earlier, the actor’s group of companies, Kolkata Knight Riders, Red Chillies Entertainment, Meer Foundation and Red Chillies VFX recently announced several initiatives to support the efforts of Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi ji and the Government in its COVID-19 fight. The actor also provided 25,000 PPE kits to the frontline medical staff in Maharashtra fighting to contain the novel coronavirus pandemic in the state.

Recently, the actor, along with wife Gauri Khan, offered their four-storey personal office space for treating COVID-19 patients.

With these incredible and noble initiatives, Shah Rukh Khan has been helping everyone. From Government funds to 50,000 PPE kits, food requirements of 5500 Mumbai families, 2000 cooked meals to hospitals, 3 lakh meal kits for 10,000 people, grocery for 2500 daily wage workers in Delhi and 100 acid attack survivors, his range of initiatives aim to spread across the many segments of the society and are being lauded for the vision that the actor holds behind them.

‘Guzar Jayega’- Encourage People And Spread Positivity During Coronavirus Pandemic

Since the lockdown began, every entertainment personalities have been coming up with different types of songs and anthems in different languages. Now, Big B has become part of this initiative. He shared the motivational and inspirational song titled ‘Guzar Jayega’ to encourage people and spread positivity during this coronavirus pandemic. Seven minutes long track which is narrated by Big B.

The video features over 65 people of Bollywood and TV personalities including sports personalities and radio jockeys like Sania Mirza, Mahesh Bhupati, Leander Paes, Sushil Kumar, Babita Phogat, Sonu Nigam, Shaan, Ravina Tandon, Sonu Sood, Shreya Ghoshal, Hans Raj Hans, Richa Chada, Monali Thakur, Manoj Bajpayee, Sunny Leone, Kapil Sharma and many others.

“Waqt hi to hai, guzar jayega”, the narrative in Big B’s voice goes viral in social media platform.

“As the narrative in Bachchan sir’s voice goes, ‘waqt hi to hai, guzar Jayega (it’s just time, it will pass)’. We will have a plethora of emotions to indulge in, and realise there’s always a greater sunrise after the darkest of nights. I am happy to be a part of the song where everyone has come together, to communicate that ‘this too shall pass’,” added Shreya Ghosal.

Talking about this initiative Sunny Leone shares, “Though these are testing and difficult times, we all have come together to instil hope and courage through this song ‘Guzar Jayega’. We are in this together, and this too shall pass. Stay home and stay safe.”

This music is the brainchild of producer Varun Prabhudayal Gupta and filmmaker Jay Verma. The song has been composed by Jazim Sharma and penned by Siddhant Kaushal.
