Dharma Productions is gone dark and venture into the horror genre. The trailer of Bhoot – The Haunted Ship will definitely scare you and manage to send a chill down your spine. It promises an intense horror film.
The trailer was launched at an event in Mumbai in the presence of Vicky Kaushal, Karan Johar, debutant director Bhanu Pratap Singh, Apoorva Mehta (CEO – Dharma Productions), Shariq Patel (CEO – Zee Studios), Shashank Khaitan and Somen Mishra.
While talking about this genre and the film, Vicky says, “We are all scared of horror films except our director. I never thought I will do a horror film and after reading the script I was so scared that I had to do it. For me, this horror genre was throughout a learning experience. Being horror the genre of the movie I can’t prepare for it beforehand, you see.”

Apoorva Mehta thanked Bhanu for the film is hoping that it manages to scare the audiences.
When asked about the effort gone into the film, director Bhanu shares, “The heart of horror is silence. It took 6-7 months for us to compose the film. We are still trying to make out those silence for the next part. As well to make it a really scary experience and I’m really excited that it is my debut film.
‘Bhoot Part 1: The Haunted Ship’ is part of the horror franchise that revolves around a ship that lies static on a beach. The film presented by Zee Studios and produced by Dharma Productions is slated to release 21st February 2020.
