The makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have released a brand-new track, Tabaahi, giving audiences a fresh glimpse into the emotional side of Yash’s character. After introducing the film’s gritty and action-packed world through its teaser and earlier promotional material, the latest song shifts the focus to romance, showcasing the actor in a softer avatar alongside Kiara Advani.

Composed by Vishal Mishra, Tabaahi highlights the growing bond between Yash and Kiara through visually rich sequences and elegant choreography. The song presents a striking contrast to the film’s intense promotional campaign so far, offering a more intimate look at the relationship between the lead characters. Nayanthara also makes a brief appearance in the music video, adding to the intrigue surrounding the film.

Sharing the track on social media, Yash accompanied it with a famous quote by Rumi about “a field beyond wrongdoing and rightdoing,” hinting at the emotional and philosophical themes that may shape the narrative.

The song also teases an important emotional conflict. Towards the end of the video, a woman questions whether a selfish man like Yash’s character is capable of falling in love. Responding with, “Very difficult,” the actor hints at the inner turmoil his character may face, suggesting that romance could become a significant part of the story despite the film’s action-driven backdrop.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has been simultaneously shot in Kannada and English, reflecting its ambitious scale and global appeal. The film is slated to hit theatres on August 26.

The release of Tabaahi comes shortly after the makers unveiled the Ladies & Ladies teaser, which introduced the film’s powerful female ensemble featuring Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth. With the promotional campaign now highlighting both the emotional and action-packed aspects of the film, anticipation for Toxic continues to build ahead of its theatrical release.
