Amazon Prime Video announced the digital premiere of the latest periodic romantic drama Shikara. Directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the film is a timeless love story that takes place in the most unfortunate of times. A story of a love that survives 30 years of exile, the epic saga stars newcomers Aadil Khan and Sadia playing the lead roles Shiv and Shanti.

The story revolves around in 1990, 4 lakh Kashmiri Pandits (Hindus) were forced to leave their home under the threat of life. Till today, they continue to live as refugees in their own country, in small refugee camps in the city of Jammu.
