Red Chillies Entertainment has always been talk of the town. The studio has curated lovely content and their creation don’t need to feature Shah Rukh Khan in the lead. Although King Khan is busy with many projects. He has three films in his pipeline in Next year. Now the latest buzz is that SRK has acquired the negative and remake rights of the Harmesh Malhotra directorial, 1998 comic film Dulhe Raja. The film featured Govinda and Raveena Tandon in lead.
As per the report that Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment has acquired the rights of Dulhe Raja. Pinkvilla quotes an industry insider saying, “Very few know that Shah Rukh Khan is indeed a big fan of the comedy genre and Dulhe Raja is one of those pop corn entertainers that he likes. When one of the associates suggested the idea of acquiring the blanket rights of Dulhe Raja, SRK was game on for the idea”.
It further says, “The satellite and digital rights also rest with SRK and his company that would now sell it to the partners and reap rich returns from renewal of licence.”
The report also stated that Farhad Samji who is currently working with Salman Khan on Kabhi Bhai Kabhi Jaan has been working on a draft of 1998’s big hit movie.
Shah Rukh Khan is all set to comeback in silver screen soon. The actor sharing screen space with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in Pathaan, which is helmed by Siddharth Anand.
