Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is back in action, and fans couldn’t be more thrilled. The actor recently unveiled the first official look from his upcoming film Battle of Galwan, giving a sneak peek into what promises to be a high-octane patriotic drama.
Salman Khan unveiled his army persona on Instagram with the hashtag “#BattleOfGalwan.” The photo shows him in a pristine military uniform, moustache neatly in place, eyes sharp and intense. Part of his face is hidden behind a clapperboard signaling the start of filming, while the soft-focus background keeps the spotlight on him and the film’s title. Reports say the shooting is taking place in Leh, perfectly reflecting the story’s high-altitude battlefield backdrop.

Fans were quick to react, flooding the comments section with excitement. Enthusiastic admirers wrote things like, “Bhai Again In Form,” “Old swag return,” and “Blockbuster Loading,” expressing their anticipation for Salman’s return to the action genre after his previous film Sikandar failed to make an impact.
Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia of Shootout at Lokhandwala, takes audiences back to the 2020 clash in Ladakh’s Galwan Valley. The motion poster released earlier this year featured Salman Khan with a blood-stained face, sharp moustache, and a fierce, determined stare. Its tagline—“Over 15,000 feet above sea level, India fought its most brutal battle without firing a single bullet”—hinted at the high-altitude drama and patriotism the film promises.
Salman reflected on the rigorous demands of Battle of Galwan: “It’s physically exhausting, more so than anything I’ve done before. Tasks that once took a week or two now require much more effort. The running, the fighting, the stunts—it’s all part of what this film demands.”
Joining Salman in the film is Chitrangda Singh, and the duo is expected to deliver a gripping portrayal of courage and resilience. While fans eagerly await the release, Salman is also making appearances in the Saudi Arabian film 7 Dogs and Aryan Khan’s debut show, The Ba**ds of Bollywood*.
