Rashmika Mandanna, one of the leading stars in Indian cinema, marked a significant milestone as she completed eight years in the film industry. Expressing gratitude to her fans, the 28-year-old actress shared her heartfelt appreciation through an Instagram Story on Tuesday.
“Eight years in the industry! I owe everything to your unwavering love and support. Thank you,” she shared with her followers, acknowledging the key role her audience has played in her success.
Hailing from the picturesque Kodagu district in Karnataka, Rashmika began her acting journey with the 2016 Kannada blockbuster Kirik Party, where she starred opposite Rakshit Shetty. Her charm and talent quickly propelled her into the Telugu film industry, where she delivered memorable performances in hits like Geetha Govindam, Dear Comrade, Bheeshma, and Sita Ramam.
Her meteoric rise continued with the 2021 pan-Indian phenomenon Pushpa: The Rise, co-starring Allu Arjun, which catapulted her into nationwide fame. Most recently, Rashmika reprised her role in the highly anticipated sequel Pushpa 2: The Rule.
Looking ahead, Rashmika has an exciting slate of films across multiple languages. She is set to collaborate with Salman Khan in Sikandar and Vicky Kaushal in Chhaava. Additionally, she will headline Thama, a Maddock Films’ horror-comedy featuring Ayushmann Khurrana. In Tamil cinema, she will appear in the much-anticipated project Kubera.
