After the success of Oh My God 2, filmmaker Amit Rai is all set to return to the big screen with his next directorial venture, Ohh My Dog. The makers have officially announced that the family entertainer will hit theatres on July 31, while also unveiling its first teaser.
Positioned as an emotional family drama, Ohh My Dog explores the heartwarming bond between humans and their canine companions. The film carries a strong message of love, kindness and compassion, encouraging audiences to embrace peaceful coexistence with animals. One of its biggest highlights is the inclusion of more than 250 dogs, making it one of the most ambitious canine-centric films in Indian cinema.
The teaser, released on Tuesday, sets a nostalgic tone with the iconic Amitabh Bachchan song Mere Paas Aao Mere Dosto, Ek Kissa Suno. The classic track complements the film’s warm and emotional narrative, offering a glimpse into a story that celebrates friendship, loyalty and unconditional love.
Ohh My Dog features an ensemble cast led by Maahi Rai, alongside Pankaj Tripathi, Geeta Aggarwal Sharma, Rajesh Kumar, Pawan Malhotra, Sulakhyana Baruah and Vijay Mishra. Adding to the film’s unique appeal are canine stars Oscar and Bruno, supported by a remarkable cast of over 250 dogs.
The film is produced by Amit Rai, Rajesh Bhardwaj and Sana Warsi under the banners of Babulal Biscope and Thinking Hats Entertainment.
