Rani Bharti is all set to face new political chaos in ‘Maharani Season 2’. She will nip
the political riot to restore and renew her Bihar. The breathtaking trailer has been
dropped on Monday starring actor Huma Qureshi as Rani Bharti. The show will be
streaming on the 25 th of August on Sony LIV.
Huma took to Instagram to post the trailer of ‘Maharani season 2’. She captioned it:
“Her every move will matter. #MaharaniS2, streaming on 25 th Aug only on SonyLIV.”
The trailer begins by depicting a scene of a political rally where someone evokes
others to sacrifice their life against cast discrimination. Meanwhile, a youth has
come up to sacrifice his life going against Verma Commission. The young life
eagerly puts fire on his body.
Then the sequence turns toward the death of Miss Patna contestant Shilpa Agarwal.
Her brutal death generates massive political dramas to remove Rani Bharti from
her Chief Minister’s chair. The opponent party leaders create a strong political
opinion to occupy Rani Bharti’s reign. However, Amit Sial as Navin Kumar wants
to be the new Chief Minister of Bihar.
But Rani Bharti takes an oath to make a new Bihar. She will erase all political
goons to set up peace. In the end, part of the trailer shows that Rani Bharti sips tea
from a plate amidst all stress on her political battlefield.
Meanwhile, actor Patralekha Paul has mentioned to Huma: “Maharani is on fire.”
Fans are also showing their excitement on this newly launched trailer. In no time,
some of them have written in Huma’s comment section: “can’t wait to watch it,”
“eagerly waiting,” and “Super Huma.”
Talking about the new sets of Maharani, penned by Subhash Kapoor, Nandan
Singh and Umashankar Singh, ‘Maharani Season 2’ will cast Huma Qureshi, Amit
Sial, Sohum Shah, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Vineet Kumar, Pramod Pathak and
Kani Kusruti in the pivotal role. Helmed by Ravindra Gautam, the series is backed
by Naren Kumar and Dimple Kharbanda.
On the work front, besides ‘Maharani season 2’, Huma has ‘Double XL’, ‘Tarla’, ‘Pooja
Meri Jaan’ and ‘Monica, O My Darling’ in the pipeline.
