Mumbai is once again set to become the epicentre of Indian fashion as Lakmē Fashion Week in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) returns from March 19–22, 2026, at the Jio World Convention Centre. Bringing together the country’s most influential designers, emerging talent, and industry leaders, the four-day showcase promises an immersive celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and forward-thinking design.
Over the years, Lakmē Fashion Week x FDCI has grown into one of India’s most defining fashion platforms, shaping the industry’s narrative while spotlighting the evolution of design, beauty, and culture. With bi-annual editions held in Mumbai and New Delhi, the platform continues to strengthen India’s position on the global fashion map while encouraging meaningful conversations around sustainability, innovation, and diversity.
Presented by the House of Lakmē, the Fashion Design Council of India, and Reliance Brands, the Mumbai edition will bring together runway showcases, designer collaborations, immersive brand experiences, and conversations around the future of fashion. Founded in 1999 as India’s most definitive fashion week, the platform has evolved into a powerful ecosystem that nurtures both established names and emerging voices in Indian fashion.

At the heart of the platform is the House of Lakmē, which continues to shape the intersection of beauty and fashion in India. As a long-standing force behind Lakmē Fashion Week, the brand has consistently used the runway as a space where cutting-edge design meets next-generation beauty innovation.
The House of Lakmē Grand Finale this season will conclude with a spectacular showcase by Péro, marking the brand’s first-ever Grand Finale presentation. The finale will spotlight the new Lakmē 9to5 Beach Edit, India’s first SPF-infused makeup range created specifically for Indian summers and fast-paced lifestyles. Designed to combine sun protection with high-performance beauty formulas, the collection offers sweat-proof, lightweight, and heat-resistant finishes across face and lip products, redefining everyday makeup as both protective and performance-driven.

With more than 400 members, the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) continues to play a crucial role in expanding and strengthening India’s fashion ecosystem. Rooted deeply in the country’s rich heritage of indigenous crafts and handloom traditions, the organisation remains committed to championing the “Made in India” ethos.
The event will also host the FDCI Showroom, offering buyers and attendees direct access to designers’ latest collections, further strengthening the business side of fashion. The four-day celebration will conclude with the FDCI Stockroom, where visitors will have the opportunity to shop designer creations at exclusive limited-period prices.
This season’s lineup features a thoughtfully curated mix of established designers and emerging voices. Among the highlights is FDCI Boys Club, a dynamic menswear showcase featuring collections by Countrymade, Dhruv Vaish, Sahil Aneja, and Vivek Karunakaran, each bringing a distinct perspective to contemporary menswear.
The season will also feature FDCI x KVIC, where Samant Chauhan, Shruti Sancheti, Pawan Sachdeva, and COEK will present their latest collections. Additionally, the return of FDCI x Pearl Academy First Cut will spotlight cutting-edge work from standout students of Pearl Academy, reaffirming FDCI’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of designers.
The opening night will feature an exclusive presentation by AK|OK Anamika Khanna, setting the tone for the week’s creative showcases.
Continuing its long-standing association with fashion, NEXA will present Manish Malhotra, where the celebrated designer will unveil his new Luxury Pret line.
Under the designer discovery programme NIF Global Presents GenNext, winners Jubinav Chadha, Taarini Anand, and Saim Ghani will unveil their collections, offering fresh perspectives from emerging creative voices. Complementing this initiative, The Runway, another signature programme by NIF Global, will present curated showcases by student designers, giving them a platform to engage with industry leaders, media, and fashion enthusiasts.
Further elevating the season, Reliance Brands Limited will spotlight the winner of the R|Elan™ Circular Design Challenge, with Varshne from CRCLE presenting a runway showcase that celebrates circular and responsible fashion. In addition, R|Elan™ partners with Payal Pratap for a denim-led presentation highlighting innovation in fabric development and sustainable design.
A significant moment this season will be the Indian runway debut of Kartik Research, presented as part of the Fashion Trust Arabia collaboration with the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC), reinforcing Reliance’s commitment to nurturing global creative exchange.
Lakmē Fashion Week x FDCI continues to remain one of India’s most anticipated fashion events, drawing audiences from across the country and beyond. Extending the reach of the runway beyond the venue, all showcases will be streamed live across Lakmē, Lakmē Fashion Week, and FDCI social platforms, as well as on JioTV, allowing fashion enthusiasts everywhere to experience the energy of the runway in real time.
Sharing her thoughts on the upcoming season, Sunanda Khaitan, CMO, Beauty & Wellbeing, Hindustan Unilever, said that fashion and beauty have always been deeply personal forms of self-expression. She added that with the launch of the Lakmē 9to5 Beach Edit, the brand aims to introduce a practical, summer-ready approach to makeup that seamlessly blends sun care with high performance.

NEXA Spotlight returns with Anurag Gupta presenting his showcase as the latest winner of the initiative.
360 ONE Presents Aisha Rao, celebrating her maximalist, print-forward design universe.
Leading designer labels Bhumika Sharma, Ritika Mirchandani, Chola, and Satya Paul will also present collections this season.
MAX returns to the runway with its new collection titled “Unserious Everything.”
