When it comes to celebrating Bollywood royalty, no one does it quite like Shah Rukh Khan — and this year, the King of Bollywood marked his milestone 60th birthday in true SRK style: surrounded by his closest friends, laughter, and a whole lot of love.
Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan, one of Shah Rukh’s oldest and dearest friends, took to Instagram on Sunday to share a glimpse of the celebrations at his picturesque Alibaug residence. “Happy birthday KING @iamsrk .. rule for another 100 years,” she captioned a carousel of pictures that radiated warmth and nostalgia.
In one of the shots, Farah is seen planting a kiss on the superstar’s cheek, while another captures the two sharing a heartfelt hug — the kind that only decades of friendship can bring. Both kept their looks effortlessly casual: SRK in a grey tee and matching trousers topped with his signature white beanie, and Farah in a breezy pink printed blouse and black pants.

A day before the celebration, Farah had shared another fun moment from the festivities — a video showing her boat ride to Alibaug with Karan Johar and Navya Naveli Nanda. The trio looked ready for an afternoon of sun and sea, with Navya playfully carrying a basket full of snacks that Farah dubbed a “Bridgerton picnic.” In another clip, Farah humorously introduced Karan as he soaked up the sun, proving that even their journey to the party was filled with classic Bollywood banter.

As for Shah Rukh, he’s far from slowing down post-60. The actor is currently shooting for King, his much-anticipated action thriller helmed by Pathaan director Siddharth Anand.
Whether on screen or off it, SRK continues to command hearts — and if Farah’s wish comes true, we might just see him ruling the silver screen for another hundred years.
