In an auspicious event held at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad, the highly anticipated film Kaantha was officially launched with a traditional pooja ceremony on Monday. Helmed by director Selvamani Selvaraj, the film brings together a stellar cast led by Dulquer Salmaan, Bhagyashri Borse, and Samuthirakani. Produced by Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media—an arm of Suresh Productions—along with Dulquer’s Wayfarer Films, Kaantha promises to be a visual and emotional spectacle set in the 1950s.
The Grand Launch
The ceremony saw the cast and crew dressed in elegant traditional ivory and gold attire, lending a graceful charm to the event. Distinguished guests, including actor Venkatesh Daggubati, who gave the inaugural clap, Rana’s wife Miheeka Bajaj, his father Suresh Babu, Kalki 2898 AD producers Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt, and Lucky Baskhar director Venky Atluri, graced the occasion with their presence.
