Chehre is one of the much-awaited movies of the year. It has been in buzz right from its inception. The makers elevated the peek of excitement among the fans with the release of its trailer. After much anticipation and delay, the makers have now finally unleashed the release date of the film. Headlined by superstar Amitabha Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi, Chehre will get a theatrical release on August 27.
Taking to Twitter space, Big B dropped the news and thrilled fans. Sharing a video featuring himself, Amitabh Bachchan cautioned the audience, creating much suspense among them. Tweeting the news, he wrote, “T 3995 – ⚠️CAUTION⚠️ You have been warned!

Chehre is helmed by Rumi Jafry. It is bankrolled by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures and Saraswati Entertainment Private Limited.
Talking about the movie, it is a mystery thriller in which Amitabh Bachchan will be seen playing the role of a lawyer. It also stars Rhea Chakraborty, Krystle D’Souza, Annuu Kapoor, and Dhritiman Chatterjee, among others.
Earlier the movie was expected to get a release on the OTT platform but the makers changed the plan and waited for the theatres to open. After Bell Bottom, this is going to be another Bollywood film that will get a theatrical release on August 27. Fans are excited to witness such an intriguing and dark-themed film on the big screen.
Along with Chehre, Amitabh Bachchan has some more biggies in his kitty. He has Jhund and Brahmastra slated for release. Apart from this, he is shooting for MayDay along with Rakul Preet Singh and Ajay Devgn.
Whereas Emraan Hashmi has Tiger 3 and another project with John Abraham lined up in his pipeline.
