Bobby Deol seems unstoppable as he rides high on the wave of recent successes, from Animal to his upcoming The Ba**rds of Bollywood*. Now, the actor is gearing up for another powerful performance — this time in Ali Abbas Zafar’s next action-romance, alongside Ahaan Panday and Sharvari Wagh.
According to a Mid-Day report, Deol will be seen in a character that blurs the lines between good and bad — a departure from his recent streak of outright antagonistic roles. While details of the film remain under wraps, insiders hint that his part is designed to be far more complex than a conventional villain.
“It would be incorrect to call him the antagonist,” a source close to the development revealed. “His character holds an authoritative position in the story, but there’s much more beneath the surface. As the narrative unfolds, shades of grey emerge that define his relationship with the protagonist.”
The film, led by the young duo Ahaan Panday and Sharvari, is expected to showcase a clash of ideals and emotions, with Deol’s character acting as both a foil and a driving force for the hero’s journey.
With an international schedule reportedly being planned in England next month, the film is slated to go on floors in early 2026. For Deol, this project marks yet another exciting evolution in his post-Animal career — one that continues to push him into more nuanced and unpredictable territory.
