Helmed by Ranjit Tiwari, Bell Bottom is a spy thriller set in the 80s. The film is based on the plane hijacks that took India by storm back then. Apart from Akshay Kumar and Lara Dutta, the film also stars Vaani Kapoor and Huma Qureshi. The trailer completely justifies the buzz around the film and promises an adventurous series of events, full of world-class actions, retro swag, foot-tapping background scores, massive production values, and Akshay Kumar’s action persona at its best.
Bell Bottom will get a theatrical release on August 19, becoming the first Bollywood film to take this step after the second wave. In theatres, it will regal audiences in a 2D and 3D format.
