Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan are teaming up for an unconventional spy comedy titled Udta Teer. The announcement, made via an official press release, has already sparked curiosity, promising a refreshing twist on the espionage genre with a generous dose of humor.
Backed by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, the film marks their fourth collaboration following acclaimed projects like Kill, Gyaarah Gyaarah, and The Lunchbox.

Combining Ayushmann’s signature brand of socially rooted, humor-driven cinema with Sara’s vibrant screen presence, the film aims to strike a balance between comedy and chaos. While it had quietly gone on floors a couple of years ago, production delays pushed its timeline, with the makers now locking September 11, 2026 as its theatrical release date.
The project also marks the directorial debut of Akash A Kaushik, who has also penned the script. The film is produced by a formidable lineup including Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor, and Achin Jain, reinforcing the scale and ambition behind the venture.
