Prime Video on Thursday stated that “Unpaused: Naya Safar”, the second installment to the last year’s released “Unpaused” anthology, is all set to premiere globally on January 21, in more than 240 countries and territories.
Unpaused: Naya Safar will be directed by renowned filmmaker Nagraj Manjule, Nupur Asthana, Shikha Makan, who has penned dialogues for “Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin”, Ruchir Arun, and Ayappa KM, who has made a short film “The Guest”.
The new anthology will unveil five uncommon tales that how the pandemic has changed humanity. The pandemic has been inflicted on everyone while stressing on the need to embrace a positive outlook as everyone welcomes the New Year.

Featuring an ensemble cast including Saqib Saleem, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Neena Kulkarni, and Priyanshu Painyuli among others, Unpaused: Naya Safar is a heartfelt reminder that there is always light at the end of the dark tunnel. Brimming with love and positivity, the anthology urges us to embrace new beginnings with the start of 2022.
The short films in the anthology include Teen Tigada directed by Ruchir Arun; starring Saqib Saleem, Ashish Verma, and Sam Mohan. Shreya Dhanwanthary and Priyanshu Painyuli will be seen in Nupur Asthana’s The Couple. Gond Ke Laddu directed by Shikha Makan; stars Neena Kulkarni, Darshana Rajendran, and Lakshvir Singh Saran. War Room directed by Ayappa KM; starring Geetanjali Kulkarni, Rasika Agashe, Purnanand Wandhekar and Sharvari Deshpande.Vaikunth directed by Nagraj Manjule; starring Arjun Karche and Hanumant Bhandari.
