No shoots happening in Mumbai for the last few months due to coronavirus pandemic. Film Crew to actor, all have been worried and eagerly waiting for the government declaration on when the shoots can resume.
Amidst of this state of being uncertainty, Akshay Kumar has become the first Bollywood star who stepped out along with filmmaker R. Balki to shoot an ad campaign for the Indian government. Actor-director duo wrapped up the shoot within two hours at Kamalistan studio in Mumbai.
In a statement whereas Director R Balki shares, “Akshay and I have shot this ad campaign for the Government of India to make people aware about their responsibilities post lockdown. Things might seem difficult but through this ad, we now know what all precautions need to be taken to shoot in the post lockdown era. Our producer Anil Naidu made everything seem so effortless as we all maintained social distancing. The shoot happened smoothly following all hygiene protocols, ensuring minimum crew with maximum efficiency and safety.”
The crew had permission from the authorities to shoot and maintained all social distancing norms and precautions on the sets. Several picture and videos from this ad campaign shoot have been doing the rounds on the Internet whereas the entire team including Akshay and Director R Balki, have seen wearing masks. They has managed social distancing, sanitized the set. There were about 20 people present on the set.
