When a house full of Punjabis, then no one couldn’t keep calm. Yes, we are talking about Diljit Dosanjh, Kriti Sanon, Varun Sharma-are Punjabis and even they spoke to each other only their mother tongue. Recently they came for the promotion of their spoofy comedy movie Arjun Patiala at The Imperial Hotel, New Delhi.
On this event, Kriti shares, “As Arjun Patiala is a comedy movie there was a lot of energy on the sets. I remember a scene where both Diljit and Varun are drunk, they are slurring a lot. That time, I was not able to control my laugh on the sets. I stopped the shoot for a while.’’ When asked about playing the role of a cop in future, she expressed, “I would like to play the role of a lady cop in the movie directed by Rohit Shetty Sir.”
On the other side, Diljit says, “My previous movies were Rom-com. The main reason for saying to yes for this movie that it is a spoofy quirky comedy film. I love to work on it.”
Whereas Varun shares about the unique concept of the movie. He says, “Arjun Patiala is a spoof comedy genre which is not been attempted in Bollywood before. In this genre, you make fun of yourself or situations. In this film, we are trying to shares some of the truth.
Arjun Patiala is a romantic spoof comedy. Featuring Kriti Sanon, Diljit Dosanjh Varun Sharma and amongst others, this quirky comedy film is something that audiences can’t wait to look forward to and promises to take you on a joyride. Gulshan Kumar and Prem Vijan present, directed by Rohit Jugraj and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Bhushan Kumar, Sandeep Leyzell and Krishna Kumar, under the banner of T-Series and Maddock Films this film is all set to release on 26th July 2019.
