Actor Pooja Hegde may soon reunite with Allu Arjun for another major pan-Indian project if the latest industry buzz is to be believed. According to ongoing speculation, the actress is among the frontrunners to play the female lead in director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s upcoming film with Allu Arjun, tentatively titled AA23.
The highly anticipated project is currently in its pre-production stage and has already generated significant excitement among fans. If finalised, the film would mark Pooja Hegde and Allu Arjun’s third on-screen collaboration after the success of Duvvada Jagannadham and Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo.
The duo first appeared together in director Harish Shankar’s Duvvada Jagannadham, where their chemistry received widespread attention, particularly in the hit track Seeti Maar. They later reunited for Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo, one of the biggest commercial successes in Telugu cinema, with audiences appreciating their pairing once again.
Interestingly, Pooja Hegde has previously collaborated with Lokesh Kanagaraj as well. She appeared in the song Monica from Coolie last year, which further fueled speculation about the actress joining the filmmaker’s next ambitious venture.
Meanwhile, Pooja’s fans are also eagerly awaiting her upcoming film Jana Nayagan opposite Thalapathy Vijay. The Tamil political action entertainer is expected to be one of her major releases and could mark a strong comeback phase for the actress after a few recent box-office disappointments.
Over the years, Pooja Hegde has established herself as one of the most recognisable faces in South Indian cinema while also balancing projects in Hindi films. Known for being selective with her scripts, the actress has often spoken about valuing strong creative experiences alongside commercial success.
Apart from her film projects, Pooja recently grabbed attention online after her latest social media pictures went viral among fans.
The actress made her acting debut with director Mysskin’s Tamil superhero film Mugamoodi. While the film received mixed responses upon release, Pooja was noticed for her confident screen presence as a newcomer, eventually paving the way for a successful career across multiple film industries.
