Shruti Haasan has officially been roped in to perform alongside Ram Charan in the high-energy dance number, with music composed by A. R. Rahman. The actress is expected to begin shooting the sequence in Hyderabad shortly.
For weeks, the song had sparked intense speculation, with several names doing the rounds. Mrunal Thakur was initially rumoured to be part of the project, though she never confirmed the reports. Other names like Nayan Sarika and Manasa Varanasi surfaced briefly, followed by recent chatter around Samyuktha Menon. However, it is Shruti Haasan who has ultimately secured the spot, bringing clarity to the long-running rumours.
This collaboration also marks a reunion for Shruti and Ram Charan, who previously worked together in Yevadu. Known for her strong screen presence and confident performances, Shruti has earlier featured in special numbers like Madhubala from Tevar. She has also made notable appearances in films such as Vakeel Saab and Hi Nanna, along with musical projects including the Semmozhi Anthem, also composed by Rahman.
