With several major films already in the pipeline, Prabhas continues to chart an ambitious path in Indian cinema by exploring collaborations across industries. The superstar recently met Malayalam filmmaker Dinjith Ayyathan in Hyderabad, sparking speculation about a potential new project.
The meeting reportedly took place over dinner at Prabhas’s residence and was facilitated by Hombale Films, the production house known for blockbusters like Kantara and the KGF franchise. It marked the first interaction between the actor and the filmmaker, during which they are said to have exchanged several story ideas.
Following the meeting, Dinjith shared a glimpse of the evening on social media, expressing gratitude for the warm hospitality. He described the dinner as an enjoyable gathering filled with conversations and laughter, even giving a special mention to the prawn biryani served by Prabhas. The director also thanked the team at Hombale Films for arranging the interaction.
Meanwhile, Prabhas remains busy with multiple projects. The actor is currently working on Fauzi, helmed by Hanu Raghavapudi, and has also begun shooting for Spirit by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
In addition to these projects, the actor also has Salaar: Part 2, directed by Prashanth Neel, lined up for production.
Reports suggest that Prabhas has signed a three-film agreement with Hombale Films, with Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire being the first installment under the collaboration. This has led fans to speculate that a potential project with Dinjith Ayyathan could become the second film within that deal.
Dinjith, known for Malayalam films such as Kakshi: Amminippilla, Kishkindha Kaandam, and Eko, has built a reputation for atmospheric storytelling. In addition to directing, he is also a VFX artist, bringing a visually distinctive approach to his films.
While no official announcement has been made yet, the meeting between Prabhas and Dinjith has already generated excitement among fans. With the actor increasingly collaborating with filmmakers from different industries, the possibility of a Telugu–Malayalam creative partnership could add an intriguing dimension to his upcoming slate.
